About Maryam
I am a 21 year old Maths tutor based in Leeds with three years of tutoring experience at a local youth centre, where I supported young people of varying abilities and backgrounds to develop their mathematical skills and confidence. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and have a strong numerical background, currently working in accountancy and studying towards my ACCA qualification. I am patient, encouraging and genuinely passionate about helping students understand Maths rather than just memorise it. I believe every student is capable of achieving great results with the right support and I tailor every session to suit the individual needs of each student. Outside of tutoring I run my own business which has given me a practical understanding of how Maths applies in the real world, something I love sharing with my students to make the subject feel relevant and meaningful

Whether you are struggling with specific topics, need help with exam technique or simply want to build your confidence in Maths, I will work with you at your own pace to help you achieve the grade you are capable of.
