About Jaeda
Hi! My name is Jaeda. I’m a dedicated high school student with a passion for helping others succeed. I specialize in tutoring K–10th grade students in math, science, and writing. As someone who has and continues to partake in college-level courses and understands how challenging school can be, I bring patience, clarity, and encouragement to every session. I believe learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming. My students appreciate that I take the time to explain things in ways that make sense to *them*—not just the textbook. As a tutor, I focus on building confidence through clarity and connection. I tailor each session to the student’s unique learning style—whether they’re a visual learner, hands-on, or need concepts broken down step-by-step. My goal is to make hard subjects feel simple and to create a space where students feel safe asking questions without judgment.
A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
- Check-In (5 mins): Brief review of recent material and how the student is feeling about it.
- Target Concept (15–20 mins): Go over key concepts from class or homework using examples and interactive questioning.
- Practice (20–25 mins): Work through problems together, then have the student try independently with guidance.
- Review & Plan (5–10 mins): Recap what we learned, what’s still challenging, and outline goals for the next session.

- Experience working with K–10th grade students, especially those who need extra patience or creative explanations
- 3.8 GPA and active student in college-level STEM and reading & writing courses
- I use real-life examples, visuals, and positive reinforcement to make learning engaging
