Hello! My name is Esiphi Luthuli, and I am excited to help you improve your English skills. Although I am new to tutoring, I am currently a 3rd-year student at UKZN and hold a TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with the essential skills and knowledge to teach English effectively. Description of My Private Tutoring Approach
My tutoring approach is student-centered, patient, and interactive, designed to create a comfortable environment where learners feel encouraged to practice and grow their English skills confidently. What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to adapt lessons to each student’s individual goals and learning style, whether they want to improve conversational fluency, grammar, pronunciation, or prepare for exams.
I am proficient in English and Life Science, enabling me to provide explanations or support in these languages when needed, which helps especially beginners or those struggling with difficult concepts.
Students can expect each lesson with me to be structured yet flexible, starting with a warm greeting and a quick review of previous material. Lessons include a mixture of speaking practice, listening exercises, vocabulary building, grammar review, and real-life conversation scenarios tailored to student interests.
