About Huiqun
Hi, I am Joy. I am running a small math club, and I am a patient, experienced high school and college math tutor. I focus on SAT/AP Prep.
I got my math PhD from Zhejiang University (China) and I had been an associate professor for more than 10 years in China.

I love to help students at all levels to improve their self-confidence and learn to love Math. I think guiding them to the answer is the most useful way to learn. During my lessons, I usually use prompting questions to help students understand the steps they must take to solve problems on their own. Because of my background, I can quickly diagnose weakness in the areas of math and time management, and I can help them through my guided practice exercises.
I enjoy tutoring an working with students, and the success of the students is my greatest reward.
