About Ella
I worked at Mathnasium and I have volunteered in multiple classrooms. I am also currently studying Concurrent Education at Brock University. I have worked in camp counselling for four years, two of which included direct work with inclusion participants. I have a warm personality and build trust with children easily. I love giving children the light bulb moments to help them on their education journeys. I am working towards becoming a teacher because I want to use my influence as a teacher to make a positive impact on each child's life. As a high school level tutor, I will have a positive influence on the lives of each student, helping them get into their dream schools through their English proficiencies.

Your lesson plan will depend on what you need. Present the material you need assistance with and I will help you through it. Additionally, we will work on the skills to make each student self-sufficient moving forward. For example, if you need help on an essay I will work through the prompt and material with you. I will also break down essay structures and how to write a perfect thesis. We will also explore essay types and ensure you understand the difference between an argumentative essay, a persuasive essay, and etc. For elementary students, a lesson example could include work through basic sentence structures and storytelling, applying skills after the fact.
