About Andrea

My name is Andrea, and I hold a Law degree specializing in American Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. I am currently pursuing a LLM Masters in Law with the SQE integrated, working towards qualifying as a Solicitor. I am also employed at DAC Beachcroft, a leading law firm. Fluent in German, Twi, and English, I was born in Germany, with Ghanaian heritage.
With a passion for education, I have been tutoring since secondary school, believing that learning from peers often proves more effective than traditional classroom methods. I tutor in Maths, English, and German, helping students improve their confidence and achieve their target grades. I focus on creating engaging, personalized study plans with interactive activities to make learning both fun and effective.
My availability is listed on my profile, though I do accept short-notice lessons for urgent needs. I offer 1-on-1 sessions, group classes, and ongoing support through worksheets and outside-of-lesson contact. Over 90% of my students have seen significant improvement and success on their first attempt at exams.

About the lesson

I regularly test students’ knowledge before exams to track their progress and adjust our approach as needed. I encourage students to reach out to me outside of lesson hours for additional support, whether they have a quick question or need clarification on homework.
Progress is measured through ongoing assessments, feedback, and monitoring improvement in their performance on past papers and homework assignments. I provide feedback to parents, keeping them informed of their child’s development and the steps we are taking to reach their academic goals.
Encouraging learning is about creating a supportive environment where students feel confident in asking questions and exploring the subject in depth. I aim to make learning enjoyable and engaging, helping students stay motivated and focused on achieving their goals.
