I was previously head girl at Langley grammar school and having been through the 11+ system and the new GCSEs and A levels I feel confident I can help other students through this process and achieve able results.

Personally I believe that the need for private tutoring arises as there are simply too many children per class in schools now due to pressure from the government, as a result of this I believe many student miss out on the attention they deserve and thus fall behind. My aim therefore, is to deliver student teacher based classes but on a one to one level. I intend to prepare content in advance and run through a scheme of work as well as have mini tests to assess the child. These tests shall not be stress invoking but rather done so I can be sure a student is progressing in their knowledge and which methods of teaching best suit the child. Although this may seem rather extreme I believe tutoring is not about just teaching a child, I believe it is about making a real difference to a child’s future as good qualifications really do offer a world of opportunities.
