About Alex
I am a passionate and tenured Graphic Designer with a BA (Hons) First Class in Graphic Design and over 10 years experience in the design industry to date. I am available to tutor on all aspects of Graphic Design - the software, the principles of design and can provide an insight into how what you learn in the classroom translates in the ‘real world’ of design out there in the industry. I am an organised, personable and well-presented tutor and I believe my tutoring skills are high; in terms of subject matter knowledge, my demeanour and my passion for educating students and all who are interested in Graphic Design and it's applications.

My tutoring session plan would be to understand clearly the needs of the student, to pinpoint exactly what needs to be tutored and to proceed with a series of well-structured sessions to get the student to the end goal; whether it be technical skills, coursework or providing an understanding of how the industry works. I work as a designer in the city of Edinburgh, full-time (Monday to Friday) and I am available for tutoring in the evenings and at weekends.
