About Maia
Hola! I’m a Spanish tutor with 2 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature with a Peninsular focus. Much of my teaching has been dedicated to homeschooling families who want to include Spanish in their daily routines. Language becomes more powerful when it is part of everyday life.
My lessons are flexible and designed around each family’s learning goals. I build personalized curriculum plans that combine Spanish with subjects such as history, literature, culture, and geography. This interdisciplinary style keeps learning meaningful and engaging.
I also enjoy creating hands-on projects for families. Activities may include cooking, storytelling, music exploration, and cultural celebrations. These experiences help students practice Spanish in fun and memorable ways.
My focus is on practical communication and helping families feel comfortable speaking Spanish together. Parents and children learn as a team. Confidence grows naturally through shared learning.
