About Adrian
With 4 years of jazz piano teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, I am deeply committed to helping students grow into sophisticated and confident musicians. My specialty includes preparing students for competitive conservatory programs such as Berklee and Juilliard. My approach blends technical work, jazz theory, improvisational development, and personalized creative exploration. I encourage students to build strong foundations in voicing, scales, harmony, rhythm, and tone control. I also emphasize transcription and ear training to help them develop an authentic understanding of jazz. Over the years, I’ve guided students through rigorous audition processes, helping them create polished repertoire and develop stage presence. I customize lessons to align with each student’s musical goals, whether they aim for performance careers or advanced academic study. I believe that every student can develop a unique artistic identity, and I work to support that growth through thoughtful instruction.
