About Aspen
I have spoken English for about 27 years! I have a background in speech therapy, and also linguistics.
I'm fascinated by languages and how they come to be. I also love teaching students how to speak my language, understanding that it is not an easy language to learn, by any means, but that is it IS possible!

I am patient, caring, and understanding, but my students must understand as well, that this is important! They must be eager and pay attention, because what they learn here can affect the route of the rest of their life.
If they don't take it seriously and put in the required effort, they could miss out on jobs, friendships, or relationships they could building, that can and will affect their standing in this world!
I like to not only explain how things are, but also the "why" things are this way, so it can be better understood and so the newly found knowledge has a fighting chance of sticking.
A typical class would be dependent on the students skill level.
