About Charlie
I am currently an honours student studying molecular biology at the University of Stellenbosch’s faculty of medicine and health science.
While I might not be a professional (full time) tutor, I am a professional student ;)
I have sympathy for all students who feel lost, confused and overwhelmed, and I would love to help you using the valuable skills and methods I have used to overcome these challenges and excel at all my high school and undergraduate biology courses.
I believe that with a calm mind and rational approach, you can conquer any academic challenge.

My lessons cover high school natural sciences or university-level biology, specializing in molecular genetics, biochemistry, and biotechnology up to third year. I use visual tools to build broad conceptual understanding, breaking complex topics into manageable chunks. Rather than memorization, we focus on core concepts and apply them using past papers.
I'm available both online and in-person, I'm equally comfortable with both and happy to adapt to your preference. I tailor my approach to suit your individual learning style, and I promote the responsible use of AI as a study tool. I'll teach you how to use it effectively to save time and enhance your learning, without replacing your own original thinking.
