About Nyah
I am a student, aspiring to be an actuary. I have been tutoring children in math since the 10th grade in India. I have tutored 12 students so far and have been amazed by how within 6 months their opinions of mathematics took a 180 from hatred to love, 4 even looking to major in mathematics in the future. I would love to spread this change in young minds while in college as well and would be extremely grateful if given this opportunity at your esteemed workplace.

My teaching method stems from the humanistic approach, which states every child is unique in their own way. I would approach a topic by first teaching the topic to everyone the same way; and then working individually with each student based on their strengths and weaknesses until the whole class is on the same page. I am willing to put in extra hours as well for students that need them.
