About Adnan
Here is a polished, professional, and confidence-inspiring profile text. It is designed to make parents and students feel they are in safe, capable hands. Profile: Master Mathematics with a Top-Tier Engineering Undergraduate About Me I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia's premier university. Prior to this, I completed my A-Levels with a focus on Mathematics and Physics. As an engineering student, mathematics is not just a subject I teach; it is a tool I use daily to solve complex problems. My academic background has equipped me with a deep, rigorous understanding of mathematical concepts—far beyond the standard secondary school curriculum. This allows me to not only teach the "how" but also the "why," ensuring students truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it. My Teaching Philosophy I believe that every student has the potential to excel in mathematics if they build the right foundation. My methodology helps students transition from rote memorization to logical application. Concept Mastery: We break down complex topics (like Calculus, Trigonometry, and Algebra) into simple, manageable components. Exam Strategy: I train students on how to approach questions strategically to maximize marks, utilizing past-year papers to build familiarity and reduce exam anxiety. Patience & Clarity: I provide a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes—which is the fastest way to learn. Who This Is For I specialize in tutoring students who want to secure an 'A' in: SPM / IGCSE Mathematics SPM / IGCSE Additional Mathematics Lower Secondary Mathematics Lesson Details Format: One-on-one private tutoring (Online or In-Person in Kuala Lumpur). Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours per session to ensure deep focus. Commitment: I am professional, punctual, and dedicated to seeing my students succeed.

Methodology: As an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Malaya, I use math every single day to solve real-world problems. My teaching approach focuses on "First Principles"—I don't just ask students to memorize formulas; I teach them to derive and understand the logic behind them. Once you understand the concept, the exam questions become easy. I rely heavily on past-year paper drills to ensure the student is exam-ready and confident.
Who is this for? • Students preparing for SPM or IGCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. • Students who feel "stuck" or think they just aren't "good at math."
Qualifications: • Current Electrical Engineering undergraduate at University of Malaya (UM). • A-Level Graduate with a strong background in Calculus and Algebra.
Lesson Details: • Length: Typically 1.5 to 2 hours (1 hour is rarely enough for deep focus). • Format: Review of concepts followed by guided problem solving.
