About Damien
I am 23 years old and I have had a love for English for as long as I can remember. To me, there is nothing more exciting than picking up a new book and experiencing a new experience in literature and there is nothing as freeing as expressing yourself through writing. I take English very seriously and am dedicated to helping students find their own love for the subject. My only concern in tutoring is fostering growth in my students as thinkers, readers, and writers and I am (and will remain) fully committed this process. In me, students will find a tutor who is punctual, professional, and strives to help them grow as writers and as people.

Hello!! My name is Damien Perry and I recently graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Creative Writing. I am extremely passionate about reading, writing, and the English language in general and I want to do my part to inspire that same passion in the students of today. Any student who finds themselves struggling with essays, reading assignments, research papers, book reports, etc., would benefit greatly from taking lessons with me. I've worked with kids in the past long enough to know that every student is different in the way they like to learn and process information, which brings me to my specialty. I always go to great lengths to understand what kind of student I'm dealing with and developing my lessons based on that particular student's strengths and weaknesses. Students of any level (elementary, middle, or high school) who take my lessons can expect a tutor who is truly dedicated to helping them progress in their mastery of the English language and who will do everything in his power to make sure his students grow academically under his watch.
