About Madeleine
I would like to write more books for young German learners as I still find that there is a lack of German resources . I really enjoy teaching German, so I would like to continue my teaching journey and go into higher education.

I absolutely love learning languages so around 10 years ago I decided to pass that love on to kids and thus, I've started teaching German to children from the age of 4 . There was a great need for German learning resources for kids, so I enjoyed creating my own worksheets and also wrote countless blogposts on my teaching journey.
I worked in German languages schools in Hamburg (Germany), as well as in a pre-schools and language schools in the UK and Ireland.
I obtained a Certificate in Teaching German in pre-schools and primary school from the Goethe Institute (Germany). I' I also volunteered as a STEM Ambassador and taught Coding in primary schools. Furthermore, I offered creative arts & crafts workshops for children before the pandemic started.
After graduating with my Master's in Early Childhood Education from Trinity College, Dublin (Ireland), I focussed on extending my online lessons for kids. I've published three German Workbooks for Children and run a popular German for Children youtube channel.
My personalised lessons are fun and engaging. I adapt my teaching methods and techniques to my students needs and requirements. Typically, depending on the age of my students, a lessons lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. I'm teaching children from the age of 4 but also adults. I helped many of my students with their German GCSE and A-Level exams.
