About Diny
Hi! I’m Diny, a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in math and statistics. I love teaching because I know how frustrating math can be when it doesn’t click—but I also know how rewarding it feels when it finally does! My goal is to make learning engaging, break down complex concepts into simple steps, and help students build confidence in their abilities. Seeing students improve and gain a new appreciation for math is what motivates me. I believe anyone can excel in math with the right guidance, and I’d love to help you achieve your goals!

I tutor primary and high school students who want to: - Strengthen their math & stats fundamentals - Boost their grades and exam performance - Gain confidence and enjoy the learning process I am very flexible, lessons can be between 45 minutes - 90 minutes depending on student's needs, online or in person depending on location. My teaching style involves step-by-step problem-solving, concept explaining in various different ways, and ensuring my student understands why and how things work. I am currently an actuarial student at UNSW, from NZ, and have a passion for mathematics and problem solving. I am a scholarship recipient at UNSW with a 99.95 ATAR. I have 3 years of volunteer experience with being a tutor in NZ, as well as being the lead coach for my high school math competitions.
