About Tania
Hello, there! I’m Tania, a current IB student living in Asia. I love the Biology and Chemistry subjects in general, and I am currently interested in pursuing either Pharmacy or perhaps Medicine. I am your typical lover of Korean dramas, and I enjoy cooking food, exercising and reading on a daily basis. I am also currently doing my final grade for Piano, and have just picked up on vocals about a year ago.
I have always loved helping others since I was small, and being able to teach my friends and younger ones topics and questions have been very engaging and beneficial to me. I love getting to see their point of view and the smiles on their faces when they finally get a topic or know how to answer the question. I have previously helped friends who were struggling with B and C grades, and at the end of our study sessions, they came out with A grades! Being able to see their improvement is very encouraging for me to see, and I love the sense of pride and joy I am able to experience with them. Though I am always willing to lend a helping hand, I would expect that students put in the work and effort too, so that both of us can work hard together to really get as much out of our tutoring sessions as we can, and to help you develop your skills as a student. :)

Hi there! I’m Tania, a 17-year old IB student. I finished my IGCSEs / O Levels with 9 Grade 9 (A*) grades, and have gone through years 7, 8, and 9 with A* and A grades as well. I have been volunteering at an organization for more than 5 years, exposing me to kids and younger teens of all ages, so I have lots of experience with teaching kids and communicating with them. I am more than open to teaching kids aged 6-12 and teens aged 13-16.
I strongly believe in tailoring tutoring and teaching styles to the students’ own personal preferences! During the first few lessons, I’ll do my best to get to know you and your preferred learning styles, so please feel free to tell me what works best for you. If you don’t know, no worries! We can work it out together.
Tutoring can include past paper practice questions, going through topics students are struggling with, working out special secret exam tips and tricks to get the best marks possible, and fun quizzes and games spread throughout the tuition sessions. :)
Lessons can be 45 minutes to an hour (or more if you need it). I hope to be able to teach some aspiring students soon; let’s work hard together. ️
