My Teaching Approach
As a tutor, I believe learning should be clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My teaching methodology is based on breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations, using real-life examples to make abstract concepts easier to understand. I also adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style—whether they learn best through visuals, practice problems, discussions, or structured notes.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material to check understanding. Next, I introduce the new topic with simple explanations and examples, followed by guided practice where we solve problems together. The second half of the lesson is focused on independent practice, where I provide feedback and strategies to improve accuracy and speed. Each lesson ends with a short recap and take-home tips so the student leaves confident about what they learned.
