About Desirae
I am a full time classroom teacher for a grade 4/5 class. I have over a decade of experience ranging from supply teaching, tutoring, as well as mainstream classroom educator. I have also had the privilege of being a home-school teacher. I understand that there are many different ways to learn and that education is not a one size fits all situation. I look forward to working with you and learning more about your unique style of learning. The goal is to be able to assist you in mastering the skills that you need to achieve your dream while also providing you with techniques and skills to assist you on your own educational journey.

I am a former struggling special education student who fully understands the hard work and dedication needed to achieve academic success. I also understand how frustrating it is when you have set backs and the effort it takes to overcome those setbacks. As an educator I take it personally when my students are not understanding a concept because it means that I have not found the right way in which to reach them. I will go the extra mile to ensure that your child has the right approach/ technique that works for their style of learning.
