About Josef
I'm a family man with a strong academic background in mathematics from the University of Cape Town, where I earned a B.Sc. My passion lies in empowering students to excel in mathematics, science, and IT at both GCSE and A Level.
Over the years, I've successfully tutored a diverse range of students, including university-level tutoring experience. More recently, I provided guidance to my sons and their friends during their GCSE and A Level studies, adapting my teaching style to meet each student's unique needs.
I firmly believe in tailoring my approach to each student, recognizing that everyone has individual learning preferences. Some thrive by understanding the underlying concepts, while others benefit from time-saving techniques and "shortcuts" for achieving results. My commitment is to identify and strengthen the areas where each student may struggle, fostering their growth and success. Additionally, I've instilled a strong work ethic in my own children, emphasizing the value of hard work and dedication.
