About Marie
Hi, I’m Marie! I’m a San Francisco-based artist, painter, and lifelong creative who absolutely loves helping people discover what they’re capable of. Art has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I know firsthand that every artist starts somewhere. My teaching style is fun, encouraging, patient, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you’re picking up a sketchbook for the first time, looking to improve your painting skills, building a portfolio, or simply wanting a creative outlet, I’m here to help you grow with confidence. I specialize in realistic drawing and painting, color, composition, observation, and creative problem-solving. My goal is to make art feel exciting, approachable, and rewarding while helping students develop strong skills, find their unique artistic voice, and create work they’re genuinely proud of. I believe learning art should be inspiring, empowering, and full of those moments where you surprise yourself with what you can create.
