About Talya
Hi, I’m Talya Rajagukguk — a Theatre and Performance Studies graduate from the University of Warwick with a passion for both the academic and practical sides of performance. I’ve trained with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and interned at BAFTA-nominated film and TV production company, Ascendant Fox. I teach because I genuinely love that moment — when something clicks, when an idea sparks, when someone lights up with confidence in their own creativity. There’s nothing more exciting than helping someone realise they can do the thing they didn’t think they could — whether that’s writing an academic paper, directing a scene, or discovering a new way to approach performance. I’m constantly inspired by imagination and potential. Teaching lets me share what I know while learning alongside you — supporting your goals and helping you bring your ideas to life.

I'm a Theatre and Performance Studies graduate from the University of Warwick with experience both on stage and on the page. Whether you’re preparing for drama school, a theatre degree at uni, exploring directing, or tackling essays and academic presentations, I’m here to support your unique journey. My approach is personal and tailored: in our first session, I’ll get to know your work and how you learn best. Then I’ll design lessons around your goals — whether that’s building directing skills, improving acting technique, or strengthening academic writing. With experience in directing, producing, sound, lighting, set and costume design, and theatre theory (from intercultural performance to food and performance), I can help you grow as a creative and a thinker. Your needs come first — let’s work together to get you where you want to be.
