About Benny
Hi, I'm a first year undergraduate student studying Biochemistry at the University of Oxford!
I am an approachable tutor who is motivated to help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I tailor each session to suit individual learning styles, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps.
I have worked with a range of students for more than 2 years, tutoring students to meet their Oxbridge and other university offers, and helped GCSE students achieve their desired grades.

Teaching:
I start by identifying a student’s strengths and weak areas, then tailor lessons to target gaps in knowledge while reinforcing core concepts. I focus on rigorous technique and proper understanding of concepts, so students can approach harder exam questions. I also encourage active learning, where students work through problems themselves with guidance rather than just being shown solutions.
Lesson structure:
Lessons are typically 60 minutes. A standard session includes:
Review of previous material or homework
Explanation of key concepts
Guided practice with exam-style questions
Focus on problem areas and exam technique
I can adjust lesson length or structure depending on the student’s needs.
Experience:
I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Further Maths and Sciences through a tutoring company, working with a range of abilities and helping students improve both understanding and exam performance.
