About Rohan
I am a scientist at the University of Oxford. I have a PhD and I research and teach Maths/Stats at the University. But in my spare time, I also like to tutor and mentor students to make them strong in these subjects.

While teaching maths, I avoid powerpoints and slides. Maths is best taught on pen and paper (for upto 4-5 students) or black/white board (more than 5 students). I like to take the students step by step through the process, working out the details in front of them. At the end of the class, I give them fully written handouts which they can consult later. I also make it a point that they understand general principles so that they can apply what they learn to solve other similar problems in the exam, not just those that I taught them. The mode of delivery can either be in person (if student is in Oxford) or else online through video call. For statistics, I provide hands on training and demonstrations, so student should have a laptop for that, even if the session is face to face in Oxford.
