About Robert
I am currently studying for an integrated master's in physics at the University of Oxford, whilst also being part of the gymnastics team. I've tutored over 25 clients in maths and physics and have had great feedback and results from all. I have taught Maths and Physics before at A-level and have done tutoring for Oxbridge physics applicants. I took Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A-level and achieved A*s in all 3. I am currently beginning my third year of my degree and achieved a high first in my second year.

I teach physics and maths A-level as well as university admissions (PAT and NSAA physics). My lessons will be structured to fulfil and complete the exam board you are studying for whilst allowing for wiggle room to focus on the topics you need the most support in. Lessons can be 1 or 2 hours long. They begin with a brief warm-up to or review of last lesson, followed by discussion and understanding of the topic. Finally, we do exam-style questions (usually 1 guided and 1 more independently) to ensure you are fit for the exams as well as knowing the content. After the lesson I set short but regular homework to ensure knowledge retention. My focus is on understanding underlying principles so you can apply them intuitively instead of memorisation.

Robert is an outstanding tutor who is excellent at imparting knowledge and patient with any difficulties or challenges. He helped me for my A-levels and I would recommend his tutoring wholeheartedly! He never makes any lesson boring no matter how hard the maths gets.
Robert helped me greatly during tutoring allowing me to improve my maths and focus on areas when I specifically struggled a lot with, I was made to feel very confident by robert when i came to understand the topics i had difficulties with, after each session i came away feeling alot better and less confused about areas we focussed on which helped me greatly in the lead up to my GCSES.
