About Emma
I have a range of tutoring experience, from working full-time as an English teacher in China to running admissions workshops and academic taster classes throughout my time at Oxford. I find one-on-one tutoring especially rewarding, able to work directly with my students and cater my lessons to their specific needs and interests.
My classes consist of a combination of helping the student to consolidate any syllabus-based knowledge, as well as focusing on broader techniques such as essay writing and formulating arguments; I have found that this not only puts students in the best position for their exams, but equally aids to build more general critical thinking skills.

Hello! I have recently graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree in History and French. I am able to teach most historical periods at a range of levels, from KS3 right up to A Level. I am greatly passionate about the subject, and love sharing this passion with my students.
