About Grace

Hi! My name is Grace, and I am excited to help you with your singing! I am a Choral Scholar at Oxford University and I achieved Distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 singing. I have been a Choral Scholar at my local church choir for 2 years and have sung in various choirs, including the Hallé Youth Choir. I also play the cornet to ABRSM Grade 7 standard and have ABRSM Grade 5 music theory. I am a classically trained singer, able to teach students the classical style, but I also enjoy musical theatre and can teach a range of different styles. I have experience teaching people of all ages, adults and children, and also have an Enhanced DBS check.

About the lesson

I teach people of all ages and abilities, aiming to make my singing lessons helpful, informative and enjoyable. I can teach shorter 30-minute lessons as well as longer 1-hour lessons, depending on the student's needs. I have lots of tutoring experience, and currently teach people of all ages, including GCSE music, ABRSM singing grades and musical theatre. I recently helped a student achieve a Distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 singing. As well as formal teaching, I also have experience helping younger children in choirs, assisting them with pieces and reading music.
