About Aerija
I’m a 3rd year undergraduate at The Queen's College, Oxford studying Classics.- I am currently taking a break from my studies and also working within the NHS. I have a passion for all things literary (both ancient and modern) and am excited to pass that on for my students. I enjoy working with all ages and believe that harnessing enjoyment in learning for young pupils is essential. As a multiply disabled student I particularly am eager to help other students with disabilities and easily adapt my lessons to how students learn best. I teach via zoom or in person in Epsom. I work with students of all ages and take a personal approach from using worksheets and revision guides, to (for Latin and Greek) using real texts to explore the grammar and have a unique insight into the classical world. I believe in being led by the student in question and am very adaptable. I am a disabled student myself and so will do my utmost to adapt lessons to be suited to different needs and learning styles, for example with neurodivergent students or those with specific learning disabilities (such as dyslexia).
