About Alborz
I am starting my Mathematics course at Balliol College in the University of Oxford in October of this year, and I am looking to tutor part time during my course.
I have competed in Maths Olympiads since year 7, and I am also looking to help others looking for support with UKMT competition Maths.
I have been fond of teaching for a long time; since I started teaching family to repay their kindness. Watching others grow and beat their expectations is always a highlight.

I have a strong focus on understanding the core content of Maths, and then applying it to different questions without memorising any techniques.
1-3 hour lessons, with longer lessons typically for competition Maths students, but offered for everyone. I have experience with GCSE foundation and higher on all major exam boards , and A level Maths experience covering Pure, Mechanics and Statistics on all major exam boards.
I also cover UKMT competition Maths, including challenges, kangaroos and olympiads ranging from JMC to BMO1
I also have experience (and lots of patience!) with SEND students.

Qualified for BMO1 and BMO2, earning distinctions
Experience tutoring family, friends and tutees for 4 years.
