I am a maths graduate, and lifelong maths nerd. I love to find new ways of explaining any and all concepts to anyone from students to unsuspecting passers-by. Moreover I am also continuously learning, and believe we are all on that journey.

I strongly believe anyone can become a maths expert, with patient and personalised tuition. My approach is to continuously break down concepts to the point they can be easily understood. I want my students to understand the underlying principles, not rote procedures, and I'll teach you to apply the principles to new and novel situations. With that in mind, we will usually start with problems from the course, and then vary them, or mix them up with previous questions, to really illustrate what is going on. In my view, this gives a solid foundation for both testing success and real-life application.
