About Sorrel
As an Oxford graduate, I try to teach my students in a way which encourages them to enjoy the learning process, as well as equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in examinations, at whatever stage they are at. I enjoy using both creative methods and rigorous study structures to make sure that my tutoring both improves my students and helps them to help themselves.
Whilst learning Mandarin in China, I taught English and Maths in primary and secondary schools. I taught English as a foreign language to Chinese students, and also tutored international students looking to attend prestigious UK schools and universities.
As well as this, I've assisted many 17-18 year olds looking to apply to universities. I've specifically focused on helping Oxbridge candidates, but I have also worked with students writing their personal essays for American universities.
