About Jamie
I'm in my second year at Oxford, studying for a History and Politics BA, having completed A Levels in History (A*), Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), and Physics (A).
I've been tutoring in History, Politics, Classics, Maths and Physics for a year, across all ages. For university admissions, I have a 100% success rate with the people I have tutored in preparation for Oxford and Cambridge Admissions.

I try to teach mainly though discussion, and try to foster an understanding not only of specific parts of a subject, but also of how individual aspects of a topic or discipline integrate.
Outside of sessions focused on exam preparation, I normally give out a set of exercises to each student. I usually mark these before the session after the exercises are given back to me. I set these in order not only to find gaps in a student's understanding of the topics, but also to find the areas where exam technique can improve.
