About Emma
Greek has been one of the main foci of my life in the last six years. I have a First Class Honours degree in Classics from King's College London and a Master's degree in Ancient Greek Philosophy from the University of Oxford. I am now 24, reading for a second Master's degree in Greek Philology at Universität Heidelberg and am preparing to start a PhD in Greek literature. I am a native speaker in English and French, have a C1 level in German and B2 level in Spanish and have very high competency in Latin.

I offer a highly individualised form of teaching so as to best meet the needs of all my students. After the first meeting where specific interest areas and particular needs will be gauged, a rigorous study plan will be sent to each tutee. Students of any level are welcome.
I am myself very passionate about all things Greek - the Greek language but also Greek literature, history and philosophy - and about passing on my enthusiasm for this discipline to others. All my previous students have claimed that their interest in the subject was heightened as a result of taking language instruction from me.
