About Katie
Hi! I'm a graduate from the University of Oxford with a degree in History, based in East London.
I also have experience teaching history to students aged 13-18 at a boarding school. This means that I am comfortable with new grading systems and curriculums, as well as marking work in accordance with current examination standards. I also have experience teaching creative writing to primary school children.
I am comfortable teaching most subjects (including French language) up to GCSE level, and humanities up to/beyond IB or A-Level.
My time working at a boarding school means that I am comfortable working with all students, whether gifted, SEN, or ESL, and love to make my lessons as interactive and effective as possible. I am happy to take all considerations into mind when preparing sessions in order to adapt to the way in which students learn best as individuals.
