About Heidi
I have experience of tutoring both online and in-person at a prestigious academy in Oxford, helping to see students secure places at competitive grammar schools and scholarships at some of the best private schools in England.
I aim to leave students with not just the ability to perform well, but with holistic critical thinking skills as well. My goal is to produce well-rounded students who enjoy engaging with learning and have confidence in their own abilities. This is achieved through a combination of reiterating material and providing opportunities to stretch and challenge students, encouraging them to learn how to approach difficult problems, and potential failure in order to strengthen them and provide long-lasting excellence.

I am an experienced Oxford graduate with years of experience in coaching admissions success for 11+ and 13+ students across the country. I tailor tutorials closely to student needs and desired outcomes, building up knowledge of taught material in line with practice papers. Overall, this translates into high-scoring exam scripts and admissions success.
In my own life I have received offers from both Cambridge (Natural Science Tripos at Peterhouse, 2018), and Oxford (Archaeology and Anthropology at Magdalen, 2019). Having succeeded through both admissions processes, I can offer expert and tailored advice on how to best help a student through education.
