About Ben
Hi, I'm Ben, and I went to Oxford University to study engineering. I started tutoring maths in Year 12 and have continued throughout university. I have also been a mentor at the UK Mathematics Trust summer schools. They run Maths Olympiad style events, which are an amazing source of quirky questions that are very challenging!
I hope to give a few more students the confidence to explore maths beyond A Level, and to make the process of learning maths more enjoyable.

There are millions of textbook practice questions out there (use ChapGPT). What can give you the edge though is having an intelligent conversation with someone who can push your understanding and your brainpower.
I like to give 45 minute sessions. Content-wise, I can pose a range of questions we can solve together, fill gaps in understanding, or expose you to more advanced topics. Or, send me problems in advance and I will write worked solutions with diagrams.
