About Milton
As an actor I have appeared in movies such as ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’, ‘Tomb Raider’, and most recently ‘Redeeming Love’ (currently in post production), as well as TV series such as Black Sails and Outlander. I have shared the screen with actors including Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, Milla Jovovich, Eric Dane, Eoin Macken, Aksel Hennie, and many others. In the commercial world I have appeared for brands such as Audi, BMW, LG TV, Ersnt & Young, and many others.
Each job was a process that spanned from first receiving the brief to attending the audition to finally performing the role on camera, and I am excited to share my practical knowledge on all of it with you.
I hold a degree in Theatre & Performance from the University of Cape Town (BA Hons), as well as one in Gender Studies (BA). I am also an experienced director in theatre, commercials and television. Visit my IMDB page or my website for a full look at my experience.

Acting can seem like a complicated process, but it doesn’t have to be. As an actor on some of the world’s biggest sets and having worked with some of the world’s best talents, I have practical information to share on how best you can prepare for and own your audition. Whether you’re preparing to audition for your drama school, a part in a movie, a TV series or a commercial, I can help you hone your effort into the best representation of who you are.
We will prepare from the following angles:
Narrative Logic: How does your scene fit into the larger story and therefore, what beats do you need to hit in order to nail the part?
Character motivation: What is your character’s motivation within the scene, and how can you express this easily and clearly.
State-of-being: What is your emotional state, the mood or tone that drives you toward your goal within the scene? This is potentially the most important part of your preparation, this is the quality that will make the part yours.
Performance: Together we will combine all of the work above into a performance in which you are supremely confident, and able to own any audition room.
Enjoyment: Finally, the quality of your experience is what is going to land you the job. I will work with you to unlock a feeling of deep enjoyment of the process of auditioning, making you an undeniable prospect to any director.
The key to a successful audition is confidence, and the key to confidence is preparation. Prepare excellently and with your own personal flare, and you will not go wrong.
My approach is goal orientated and based on one simple driver; what do you want to achieve? There are no rules to acting, only techniques used to achieve a particular goal. Together we will discover the techniques that work for you, transforming the quality of your audition process for good.
There are hundreds of actors out there vying for the same job, but none of them are you. It is your flair that we will access together, and have a lot of fun in the process too.
