About Ruby
As a singing tutor with 8 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students grow both musically and personally. I teach school and college students and guide them in learning the fundamentals of singing in a simple and practical way. My lessons focus on breathing control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and stage confidence.
I believe that every student has a unique voice that deserves to be developed with care and encouragement. During my teaching career, I have helped many students overcome stage fear and perform confidently in school and college events. These moments are some of the most rewarding experiences in my journey as a teacher. I always create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to practise and improve. I also encourage them to explore different styles of music and discover their own musical identity. My goal is to help students enjoy singing while building strong vocal skills.

My methodology for teaching singing focuses on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to help students progress steadily. I believe every student’s voice has the potential to grow with proper guidance and practice. Lessons begin with foundational exercises such as breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, pitch control, and tone development.
Once students are comfortable with the basics, they practise song interpretation, emotional expression, and performance skills. Creativity is a central part of my teaching because it allows students to explore musical styles and develop their unique voice. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace to provide personalised guidance and feedback. Time management ensures lessons are productive and balanced, including technical exercises, song practice, and performance coaching. In addition to singing, I also teach rhythm, music theory, and stage confidence.
