About Olivia
I recently complete my Initial Teacher Training with Mersey Boroughs SCITT, this provides me with both Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Liverpool John Moores University. This training builds upon my First-Class BA (Hons) Primary Science Education Degree obtained at Edge Hill University in 2019.
I have developed experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in multiple settings, including teaching those with special educational needs and English as an additional language. I can plan to meet the needs of all children and I have been highly praised on my ability to form strong, positive relationships with children. I also have experience teaching phonics and can adapt this to meet children's needs at different points within their phonics learning.
I am passionate about ensuring children grow not only academically but socially and physically in a safe and secure environment. I have excellent safeguarding training and up to date DBS certificate.
