About Afroditi
Teaching psychology undergraduates and postgraduates is a fulfilling and rewarding experience that aligns with my passion for the subject, offers opportunities for personal and professional growth, and makes a positive impact on the academic community. I have a deep passion for psychology and a genuine desire to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of students. My passion for Psychology is evident through the numerous internships, courses and certificates I completed over the years (MHFA England - Mental Health First Aider Training Certification, YALE - The Science of Well-Being, Harvard Medical School- Management of Borderline Personality Disorder). I want to help students develop critical thinking skills, research abilities, and a strong foundation in psychology. I can also serve as a mentor, helping students navigate their academic journey, select courses, and explore career options within psychology. It is personally rewarding for me to see students grow, succeed, and develop a deeper appreciation for psychology.

My tutoring is personalised to the student's needs. Hence there is no typical length of a lesson. My lessons are for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. I hold a First-Class Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Roehampton University, complemented by a Master of Science in Organizational & Social Psychology, awarded by the London School of Economics (LSE) with a First-Class distinction. I have experience as a tutor and I was also a peer mentor and research assistant in my University.
