About Tobiloba
I’m a passionate music teacher and performer with 14 years of experience teaching the trombone, clarinet, euphonium, piano, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or you’re working toward more advanced skills, I’d love to guide you on your musical journey.
I have taught in secondary schools as both a part-time and full-time music instructor, and I’ve also worked with many students through private tutoring. Over the years, I’ve helped beginners grow into confident players and supported advanced students as they prepared for performances, exams, and auditions.
Alongside teaching, I’m also an active performer on the trombone and clarinet. I’ve played with different orchestras and ensembles at concerts and events, and these experiences help me bring real-world musical insight and practical technique into every lesson.
I hold MUSON certifications in both Theory of Music and Clarinet performance. After getting to an advanced level in Clarinet, I took up an interest in Trombone, learned it up to a professional level, and have, since then, been performing on the instrument at various functions. Currently, I perform with a standard orchestra at a notable Anglican Cathedral in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria.
Music is the one thing I can do all day without batting an eye, aside from architecture, which I studied to the Master's level. My ultimate agenda for musical knowledge is to learn at least one instrument from each instrument category, and to actualize that goal, I am currently having fun with the double bass and Timpani.

My lessons run for the duration of an hour, and that is to make sure to keep the session alive, active, and not too long. My aim is to make learning enjoyable while still helping you make solid, steady progress.
