About Claire
Hi, I'm a first-year optometry student at Flinders University! I achieved a raw ATAR of 99.10 in the 2024 HSC achieving Band 6's in all 11 units that I took. I'm a friendly, soft-spoken tutor who will put you at ease during the lesson as I tutor you to academic excellence.

As someone who found the shift from year 10 to 11 drastically more challenging, and consequently had to change my own approach to studies, I bring profound experience to my lessons. At the start of our lessons, I will conduct an initial assessment in order to get to know your strengths and weaknesses. I will conduct 1-on-1 personalized 1 hour lessons, during which I will bring tailor-made notes and resources to guide your studies. I have experience supporting junior students in my high school through the Math Enrichment Program, and tutored primary school kids for over a year. I earned high band 6's in both MathExt1 and MathExt2 as well as a mid band 6 in Chemistry in the 2024 HSC. As a result, I am thoroughly qualified to tutor. I hope to tutor junior high school students hoping to build a strong foundation for HSC/SACE math and chemistry, as well as senior (11-12) high school students aiming for excellence.
