About Anna
My name is Anna, I am from the UK but for the last few years have lived in Portugal. I have been tutoring online for 3 years and I am really enjoying meeting so many different people and helping them develop their maths skills. So far I have completed more than 800 lessons online! I specialise in teaching Primary and GCSE level students (I regret I cannot teach anyone at University Level). Although recently I have been teaching online I would be very happy to meet in person for lessons as well. I enjoy swimming, walking, yoga, cooking, arts and crafts. I am currently studying Portuguese but still at the early stages! Also I love cats and help a cat charity. I have previously tutored primary and secondary school pupils in school and one to one settings. Online, I have tutored students from around the world mainly at primary and GCSE level. I have also helped adults that have needed to improve their maths for work, job interviews or just their own interest! I completed a Maths Degree with the Open University and managed to achieve 1st class! My favourite topics were in pure maths including, Groups and Geometry, Number Theory and Complex Numbers. I also studied Statistics until second year university level.

I am available for both in person and online lessons. In person lessons would need to take place in Albufeira Portugal. I like to provide a relaxed teaching atmosphere where the student can discuss any difficulties they are having. I very much enjoyed preparing for exams both at school and university and believe this is an area where I can help people. I am a very patient person and have been told I'm good at explaining things too! I believe I could help anyone struggling with their maths homework or falling behind in class. I can also assist anyone preparing for exams and feeling under pressure. I look forward to chatting about how I can help you improve your maths for whatever reason, hope to hear from you soon!
