About Madhu

Hello, I am Madhu Arya, a certified yoga teacher with 5 years of teaching experience, certified by Yoga Alliance (USA). I run Aasana by Madhu, a yoga and wellness studio, and I now teach live online classes for students anywhere in the world.

Off the mat, I am a mother of two teenagers and a full-time homemaker, so I have trained for years in patience, multitasking and staying calm when someone says, “I am fine," in a very loud voice. I am a perfectionist who cooks everything from scratch, and I plan my classes just as carefully as my meals, with the right ingredients, good timing and a lot of love. Yoga is the reason I stay peaceful at home. Mostly. If yoga works on me, it can work on anyone!

About the lesson

I take great care in every class I teach. With 5 years of experience, I guide you step by step through the whole session, from the first breath to the final relaxation, so you always know what to do and why.

I explain each pose clearly, with simple cues for how to position your feet, hips, spine, shoulders and breath. I watch you closely on camera and give one-on-one corrections by name, so your posture and alignment are right from the start. I also adjust the class to your level, with easier options if you are a beginner or stiff and deeper options if you are more experienced, so you can practise safely and confidently at home.

You will never feel lost or left behind. Every class is calm, well organised and focused on you.
