About Bailee
My name is Bailee. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching! I graduated from Huntington University with a degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Math. I don't ever remember a time in my life I did not desire to be a teacher. I feel that it is my calling and my passion to spend each day working with young people to help them overcome barriers and challenges in their education.

The National Average for student math proficiency in the U.S. is currently 38%. I recently read this statistic while engaging in math professional development, and I haven't been able to remove it from my brain. As a teacher specializing in math, I feel it is my responsibility to do more for our students in this next generation.
My unique lessons offer students opportunities to think about math creatively, and to learn and practice 21st century skills. My goal is to move the past superficial learning and help students gain a deeper understanding of math concepts.
