About Savio
I have four years of experience in teaching Portuguese for native speakers of Spanish. Some of my students passed the Proficiency in Portuguese Language for Foreigners test, widely known as CELPE-Bras, and many of them developed a good level of language skills.
I have approximately one of experience in teaching Spanish to Brazilians. I can work on accent reduction and prevent students from talking "portunhol", and mix between Portuguese and Spanish.
Experience of 4 years in teaching English to Brazilians. I have applied language learning techniques that can lead to a faster language learning.

Portuguese lessons for foreigners are different from Portuguese classes for Brazilians. The focus of the classes is not grammar, but the acquisition of language. Therefore, the classes address a broad range of topics, such as phonetics, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, and also grammar topics of Brazilian Portuguese. I make use of a vast range of materials which goes from audiovisual to written materials.
Spanish classes for Brazilians are for those who have no conflict with Argentines. I have lived in Argentina for 4 and half years. I have the "Porteño" accent. I apply to the "comparative grammar method", where I make comparisons between grammar structures of both languages, and make corrections constantly to prevent students from learning the "portuñol".
English classes for Brazilians are for those who are taking the first steps in the language and want to do it loosely. Thus, I work with many language learning techniques, so that students can start their path to the laguage learning on their own.

Sávio es un excelente profesor de Portugués como Lengua Extranjera. Sus clases son muy dinámicas, entretenidas y organizadas. Es un gran conocedor de la cultura mundial, lo que hace a sus clases muy interesantes. Organiza sus clases según las necesidades del alumno, otorgando el material de estudio necesario para cumplir sus objetivos. Siempre complementando con material de actualidad, tanto material escrito como auditivo. Sus clases mantienen un equilibrio entre los temas gramaticales, actividades orales y escritas.
