About Diya
My name is Diya Kalyan, I study engineering at university and tutor Mathematics up to GCSE level. I believe that every student is different, hence learn best in different ways, this is why my tutoring style varies with each student I teach. I have always found a lot of joy and relief when I understand a topic or get a difficult question right, and I want to help my students feel the same way as well as support them in doing the best they can in exams and tests.

My teaching method varies and depends on the needs of the students. I mainly focus on teaching by answering example questions and asking the students to complete similar questions on their own. I choose the topics for the lesson by asking students what topic they'd like to learn or are struggling with.
The typical length of a lesson is an hour, however, if the student would like longer lessons I am also able to do that.
I have previously tutored GCSE mathematics.
My lessons are for Maths up to GSCE higher level (ages 5-16).
