About Ben
Climbing Instructor, and maths teacher, getting people past their fears for over 20 years.
I have been working in outdoor instruction with the focus of personal development for a number of years, and returned to study to become a teacher in my 40s, and found that what I had learnt in the outdoor world could be applied elsewhere.

I use mainly Socratic questioning techniques where students answer their own questions based on their knowledge, building confidence in their own ability. Guidance on new subjects set in a highly scaffolded way, always building in real-world usage, whatever the student's age.
