Taught incorrectly, Modern History can be disengaging for Middle School and High School students. I firmly believe that Modern History should be the most interesting and thought provoking subject that you study. With the world at such a precarious place geopolitically, there has never been a more important time to learn lessons from our past. I believe in taking a practical approach to teaching Modern History with a focus on using a variety of primary sources and interactive lessons so that the student can get a deep understanding of the key themes.
